Course Overview:

This intensive course is designed for HPB surgeons and surgical trainees seeking advanced education in robotic pancreas surgery, combining high-impact didactic sessions with hands-on and observational learning. Participants will gain comprehensive skills in robotic platform setup, operative planning, and execution of pancreatic resection using state-of-the-art robotic systems guided by experienced international and local faculty.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand robotic system ergonomics, docking, and optimal OR setup
  • Recognize indications, patient selection, and perioperative considerations for robotic pancreas surgery
  • Learn robotic techniques for pancreas procedures including Whipple’s operation and distal pancreatectomy
  • Enhance proficiency in tissue dissection, suturing, and advanced energy device use
  • Integrate robotic workflow into clinical practice
